As part of a school project, we have to blog about our families. I'm going to answer the following questions in order of however I feel like it.
What's your idea of what a family can be?
Who is in your family circle? <-- I don't understand the question.
What is your family like?
Does your family circle involve a variety of people? <-- Again, what is a family circle?
Different generations?
Explain the following quote:"Families evolve from a patchwork of possibilities" <-- don't understand the quote...
A family to me is a group of people who are related through blood and physical (and sometimes mental) attributes. To many they mean the world, to others, not so much. They accept each other into other families through marriage to make even larger families, though most don't think of the relatives of in laws as direct family too often, if at all. If you trace lines back far enough, everyone is related some way or another.
My family is kind of separated right now. My sister, Kendra, is in France, studying abroad, my Dad's family lives in Southern California, and my Mom's family lives mostly in Wisconsin. The only other relatives that within an hour from here is my dad's twin and my grandparents. My sister has an "attraction" to winning games and being the best, my mother finds entertainment in feeling accomplished and working, and my dad plays video games and plays guitar most of the time.
I have all four of my grandparents, though one of them has altheimer's. My Dad's parent's live in Southern California like the rest of his family, and My Mom's parents live a little more near here. One of my grandmas is really Greek, and as a result we celebrate Greek Easter.
