The Blo3gs of Others.

Of my entire class, the blogs I chose to blog about were Lisa's, Kelly's, Rebecca's, Sara's, and Andrew's.

Lisa's blog was about the podcasts we listened to, and mine is in there, along with Will's and Lucas's. Will's was about a book, and Lucas's was about baseball and football.

Kelly's blog was about a fight between 2 men, De La Hoya and Mayweather, and how they fought in a boxing match. They were close, but Maywheather won, and then she talked about her $60 dish network.

Rebecca's was about swimming on the block period in PE, with some of her friends and some others she didnt know.

Sara's was about coffee, and how many people drink it, and how much of an addiction it is. She doesn't think so.

Andrew's was about Earth Day, and he had a vidoe of beautiful spots all over the world.

podcasts blo3g

The podcasts that I heard were very well done, about the capuchino band and sports, by Lisa and Jake. Both had funny parts, but they were about regular things. They had some serious sections too. the band is made up of many different sections, went down to Disney Land for a concert, and got some benefit from people going to their concerts and such. The other was about MLB and the NFL (baseball and football) and how they're played.

paper bags!!!

This is part of a project I have to speak for four minutes about a random topic. Yes, that random.

The Amazing World of Paper Bags

Paper bags are one of the most fascinating things ever. They’re like portable trees that hold things. Imagine if you had a tree that followed you around all day, holding your lunch. That would rock! You could sell it online for 10 dollars, but it costs so little for a bag, you could earn a lot of money. People who are really eccentric would buy it if you marketed it well enough.

Plastic bags are another kind of bag. Not nearly as nice as paper bags, and they have far fewer uses, and much less recyclable, and they have very few strong points. If paper bags and plastic bags had a fight, the paper bags would just… you know, it wouldn’t even be a fight, it would be a loss for all of plastic bag kind.

Some may say there are reasons to distrust paper bags. They were a racist reference in the 1900s to the 1950s, where parties were held, and anyone darker than a paper bag couldn’t enter. However, it’s not the paper bag’s fault, but instead, the people who bought the paper bags. Now people make paper bags in mass, some selling them in groups of 10,000 minimum. There’s also a record production company under the name of Paper Bag Records in Canada. Who could forget the Fandango ads, with those fascinating little puppets? No one, that’s who.

del.icio.us blo3g

On del.icio.us (that's the entire website name, and it may be the best name ever) you can store websites and find what others have stored, like a giant bookmarks folder, but everyone knows whats been saved and how popular it is. I chose 3 websites to save, albinoblacksheep.com, deviantart.com, and spore.com. One is a website filled with various submitted videos and games, the next is a site where people can post their art, and the third is a website for a game coming out in October 2007.
